Other people would just see success by looking to a person’s career ladder or their bank accounts or how far they’ve traveled.
But, is that really the gauge of being successful? Because for me, NO. Definitely not. Success doesn’t just revolve with your worklife or finances. It is deeper than that.
For me, success means you’re aiming for value rather than position or being above others. Value in the eyes of your family. Value in the eyes of your friends. Value in the eyes of the kids looking up to you. Value in the eyes of the people you care about. And above all else, value in the eyes of the one guiding you from above.
I’m not saying that you should no longer strive for success in your career or whatever it is that you want to achieve. What I want to relay is that while you’re working hard to be the person you want to be in this material world, never ever lose your real value. The success that can let you go through both worlds, Earth and His world.
So, if your bank account doesn’t have a 5 or 6 digits or more cash in it but to the eyes of the people around you, you’re a gold, you’re not a failure. You are successful. 🙂
